EA IN THE HOUSE

The Lounge teamed up with EA to deliver a fantastic competition which was open to 8 universities across the UK. The team here has delivered 32 events each showcasing the new releases from EA so it’s been a really fun and busy time in the office. So what did they all have the chance to win? A luxury house rent free for 12 months for one student and 3 friends. An amazing prize! Eight students were selected nationwide from a process of elimination events and went head to head to try and win the big prize. Other prizes include a holiday, HD kit for the home, including Flat screen TV and DVD player and a PS3 with games. As the Lounge and the team at EA don’t believe in losers, all the runners up received a Nintendo Wii. The lovely photo shows the winner – Paul Gleave – from Liverpool University. He received the most amount of votes on-line so won the house. Obviously a popular guy. http://www.eainthehouse.com has all the details!

LOUNGE XMAS 2007

It was our xmas team outing yesterday. Twas lovely. Started by skating on mass at Somerset House, followed by dinner and Brazilian dance at 'Guanabara club' in Covent Garden. Final resting place - 'Funk' on Soho Square. Few stragglers made it to 'Bar Italia' on Frith street where espressos were adundant. Seems a bit hazy now but there's something oddly nice about sitting on a pavement in Soho in the middle of winter at half four in the morning... Office is looking pretty quiet today.
